Helly Food and Dairy Consultancy was founded under the leadership of Dr. Sanket Borad, an accomplished academician and industry expert.
He holds a Ph.D. and M.Tech. in Dairy Technology from the National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI), Karnal, and a B.Tech. in Dairy Technology from Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat.
He has been honored as a Gold Medallist and recognized as an Outstanding Research Worker at NDRI for the year 2012–13, along with securing top national ranks in ARS, SRF, NET, and AIEEA examinations
Scientific Community Contribution
Contributing actively to the global research community, Dr. Borad serves as a reviewer for several high-impact journals such as LWT, Food Chemistry, Food and Bioprocess Technology, Journal of Food Processing and Preservation, Trends in Food Science and Technology, and Journal of Dairy Science, among others. This active participation reinforces our consultancy’s credibility and scientific authority in the food and dairy research ecosystem
Professional Experience
With more than a decade of experience, Dr. Borad has contributed to both research and industry innovation. He served as R&D Head at Lotte Havmor Ice Cream Pvt. Ltd., Ahmedabad (2019–2021), and as a Scientist at the Dairy Technology Division of NDRI, Karnal (2015–2018). Since 2021, he has successfully provided consultancy to over 100 Indian clients and 6 international clients, guiding them toward technical and commercial excellence
Global Exposure
Our consultancy has built a strong international footprint by providing professional services and collaborations across the globe. Completed consultancy projects span USA, Cyprus, Dubai, Oman, Australia, Canada, and Bangladesh, while ongoing projects include London (UK). In addition, Dr. Borad gained international R&D exposure during his visit to the Lotte Global R&D Centre, Seoul, South Korea, enhancing the company’s global innovation capability
Patents & Innovations
Helly Food and Dairy Consultancy takes pride in its scientific contributions through patented technologies that have advanced the dairy sector. Two major patents have been granted:1. A Process for Manufacture of Low-Fat Chakka (Greek Yogurt) and Shrikhand – Patent No. 3381582. A Process for Production of Coagulant for Extended Shelf Life Paneer – Patent No. 503293 In addition, three other patents have been filed and are under review, showcasing the company’s continuous innovation-driven approach
Guinness World Record
A remarkable milestone in our journey is achieving the Guinness World Record for creating the World’s Largest Paneer Slab. The paneer-making technology that made this possible was developed and transferred by Helly Consultancy to Ananda Dairy Ltd., demonstrating our ability to translate scientific innovation into practical, large-scale industrial success
